Feds say they seized 36 guns from West Linn man, including 3 converted into machine guns
A 41-year-old West Linn man, Lucas C. Perillo, is facing allegations of possessing illegal firearms, including three converted into fully automatic machine guns. On June 17, FBI agents executed a search warrant at his residence, seizing 36 firearms total, which included unregistered short-barreled rifles and gun silencers. The FBI collaborated with state police for the investigation, and the complaint against Perillo is currently sealed. He was arrested on a Friday and made a court appearance on Monday, where he was assigned a federal public defender. Judge Jeffrey Armistead ordered his detention, noting serious concerns regarding the nature of his alleged crimes and previous legal troubles, including substance abuse issues. He is currently held at the Inverness Jail and is scheduled for a federal court hearing on August 13.
