20th anniversary Fields Wolfe Memorial Gala honors victims of gun violence
The 20th anniversary Fields Wolfe Memorial Gala is set for July 25 at the Denver Botanic Gardens, honoring Javad Marshall-Fields and Vivian Wolfe, victims of gun violence whose tragic deaths ignited movements for justice and education. Hosted by Arapahoe County Commissioner Rhonda Fields, Marshall-Fields’ mother, the gala will commemorate the lives of these individuals with community leaders, families, and scholarship recipients in attendance.
This year’s event will feature over 30 Fields Wolfe Scholars who benefit from the scholarship fund established to support educational aspirations in their memory. Notable honorees include former CSU President Dr. Al Yates and U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper. Proceeds will support the scholarship fund, which aims to foster leadership and academic excellence among Colorado students.

Include banners or visual elements that symbolize remembrance for victims of gun violence, perhaps with lit candles or a subtle emphasis on education and hope.https://sentinelcolorado.com/metro/20th-anniversary-fields-wolfe-memorial-gala-honors-victims-of-gun-violence/
