Berkshire, AIG Oppose Gun Maker’s Bid to Toss NY Ghost Gun Case

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. and American International Group Inc. are opposing a Missouri-based gun retailer, KM Tactical LLC, in its attempt to dismiss claims in a New York federal court regarding coverage for “ghost gun” litigation. Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. argues that KM Tactical is too late to challenge the court’s jurisdiction, stating the motion to dismiss is merely a tactic to evade litigation in New York. The dispute centers on whether KM Tactical should be accountable for claims related to the sale and distribution of ghost guns as presented in the 2023 case initiated by AIG.
