A neo-Nazi teenager, Alfie Coleman, was arrested by MI5 and police while attempting to purchase a Makarov pistol for a terrorist attack. The 21-year-old was detained in a Morrisons car park in Stratford, East London, after paying £3,500 for the weapon and ammunition, according to the Old Bailey court. The operation involved undercover MI5 officers, and Coleman had allegedly engaged in extensive online chats about the purchase on encrypted messaging platforms.
The prosecution claims that Coleman held extreme right-wing beliefs, idolizing figures like Thomas Mair, and he even drafted detailed attack plans. Although he accepted possession of extremist material and attempted to acquire firearms, he denies preparations for a terrorist act, describing his actions as “fantasy.” The trial is ongoing.
