3 hurt in South Philly shooting on Tuesday night

A shooting in South Philadelphia on Tuesday night left three individuals injured, including a teenager and two adults. The incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on April 29 at the intersection of Stanley and Tasker streets in the Grays Ferry neighborhood.

Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small reported that officers heard gunshots upon arriving at the scene, where they found the victims suffering from gunshot wounds. An 18-year-old man sustained injuries to his arm and leg, a 24-year-old man was shot in the hip, and a 28-year-old man was shot in both the torso and hip. All three victims were transported to a nearby hospital and are currently in stable condition.

Authorities discovered 22 spent shell casings from two different semi-automatic weapons at the scene, which also damaged two parked vehicles. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from nearby cameras as part of their ongoing investigation.
